Recommended Products
Overview
Recommended Products can be employed to promote products to customers. For instance, a product found on a second-level page can be highlighted on the Store Overview using this pattern.
Products can appear as Recommended Products both in their respective category and as standalone recommendations. Mixing and matching categories in this section is allowed.
The use of Recommended Products on the Store Overview is optional but encouraged for product promotion. The decision to include such a section on the Store Overview can be made by the country.
In the second level of navigation of a Closed Category, Recommended Products can also be displayed if they are related in some way, but only after the main products of said category.
App
If there are more than 2 recommended products, there will be a horizontal scroll in this section.
Web
If there are more than 2 Recommended Products, they will be shown as a Collection.
We recommend having a maximum of 5 Recommended Products. However, there can be multiple sections with Recommended Products.
Title
The 30-character limit for product names ensures that, in most cases, the title fits on two lines for the recommendation cards.
Caption
The description text in recommendation cards should be limited to 30 characters if the title is longer than 15 characters. In such cases, only two lines of text are available for the description. If it is longer, it will be truncated.
If the title is shorter than 15 characters, the description text can extend up to 40 characters, as a third line of text becomes available.
